Nice People

Imagine my surprise last week when I found a check in the mail. The best part is knowing how wonderful and honest some people are.

My customer wrote to me to ask where her book was. Well, when I checked my records, I determined her order was way overdue, so I issued her a full refund. I also told her to keep the book, should it happen to show up.

It must have been in the next day's mail, because she wrote me a check right away.

It made my day, even though the amount of money involved was small - but who knows, it might not have been a small amount for her.
